YaraMila 17-5-10(4) has a good balance of nutrients and is ideal for supplying higher potassium inputs to improved silage/ hay pastures and broad acre crops. YaraMila 17-5-10(4) also boron which makes it suitable choice for crops such as canola and other brassica crops which have a higher requirement for boron.

YaraMila 17-5-10(4) is a true compound fertiliser. Every granule contains stated levels of nutrient ensuring even distribution of nutrients onto the field. There is no risk of nutrient segregation during shipping, handling or spreading.

YaraMila 17-5-10(4) contains both nitrate-N and ammonium-N. A high nitrate concentration is a prerequisite to feed fast growing crops and ensure good root development, while the ammonium-N is important to keep a sustained delivery of nitrogen. Ammonium nitrate is an ideal nitrogen source for surface application to reduce potential volatilisation losses.

All phosphorus in YaraMila 17-5-10(4) is fully plant available, as water soluble orthophosphates and ammonium citrate soluble di-calcium phosphate. The combination of different forms give greater and a longer lasting availability of phosphorus to crops over a wide range of soil types

All potassium in YaraMila 17-5-10(4) is present as potassium chloride. Potassium is important for all crops as it stimulates growth of strong stems and provides some disease and pest tolerance by increasing the thickness of the outer cell walls. It improves plant tolerance to stress, frost and many plant diseases. It is also vital to the regulation of water movement through the plant.

YaraMila 17-5-10(4) contains sulphur which is an important component of enzymes and other proteins and is required for the nitrate metabolism. Sulphur is mobile in the soil and maintenance applications are essential for balanced plant growth. Sulphur in YaraMila 17-5-10(4) is in the sulphate form and so is available for immediate plant uptake.

YaraMila 17-5-10(4) also contains magnesium which is required for many plant processes, particularly important for chlorophyll production. It also supports animal health by reducing the risk of grass tetany.

Product Application Advice

Oilseed rape / canola: Spread 150-200Kg/ha at 6-8 leaf stage.

Grassland & Pasture

Grass: General recommendation, spread 200-300 Kg/ha in autumn and spring. Adjust rates according to grazing or fodder production requirements.
