YaraVita Caltrac is a highly concentrated flowable formulation which has 2.5 times the calcium content of chloride or nitrate based liquids. Concentration coupled with excellent crop safety, allows higher calcium inputs to be made.

The fluid formulation makes it easy to measure, pour and mix the product in the spray tank, whilst giving the highest nutrient content.

The product is specifically formulated to provide maximum crop safety. This helps to ensure that application will not cause damage to the crop which can reduce it's market value.

The purity of raw materials selected for this product makes it safe for application to the crop and helps ensure that the harvested produce will not be rejected at any point in the supply chain.

A controlled particle size gives quick uptake and long lasting effect. This reduces the need for repeat applications saving both time and money.

A broad tankmixability makes it easy to co-apply the products with agrochemicals, saving both time and money. Just as important, free access to Tankmix information online or via smart phones makes it quick and easy to check whether products can be co-applied.



Product Application Advice

Almond

Almond: 5 to 7 l/ha after petal fall. Water rate: 500 l/ha.

Apples

Apple: 3-5 L/ha repeated at 10 day intervals from 4 weeks after petal fall. Water rate: 500 L/ha minimum. Note: Caltrac 400 may leave white marks upon the fruit, similar to other suspension concentrate products. It may be necessary to clean the fruit prior to sale.

Apricot

Apricot: Two applications of 5 l/ha sprayed 6 weeks and 4 weeks before harvest. Water rate: 500 l/ha. Alternatively: Regular applications of 5 l/ha at 7 to 14 day intervals from petal fall to one month before harvest. Note: Final application to be made at least one month before harvest. Under conditions conducive to fruit russet (variety, weather conditions, etc) delay applications until 6 weeks after petal fall. Water rate: 150 to 500 l/ha.

Banana

Bananas: 2 L/ha repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 30 L/ha minimum. Note: Caltrac 400 may leave white residue on the fruit that hasn't been bagged, similar to other suspension concentrate product

Blueberries

Blueberries: Apply 5 litres/ha, 10 days after petal fall has finished. Bushes being grown for a second cropping year should receive the fruiting year programme again. Water rate: 1000 l/ha

Broccoli

Broccoli: 3-5 L/ha commencing at the 4 to 9 leaf stage and repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 50-500 L/ha. Brussel Sprouts

Carrot: 3-5 L/ha applied when sufficient leaf area to intercept the spray and repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 50-500 L/ha.

Cauliflower

Cauliflower: 3-5 L/ha commencing at the 4 to 9 leaf stage and repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 50-500 L/ha. Cereals

Cereals: 3 to 5 l/ha from 4 leaves to second node detectable (Zadoks G.S. 14 to 32). Repeat applications can be made at 10 to 14 day intervals within these stages. Water rate: 80 l/ha.

Conifers

Conifers: 5 l/ha at start of new season leaf production and again in early autumn. Water rate: 500 to 1000 l/ha.

Cotton

Cotton: 5 L/ha at early flowering. Water rate: 30-200 L/ha.

Lettuce

Lettuce (field grown): 3 to 5 L/ha commencing 10 to 14 days after transplanting or emergence and repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 50-500 L/ha. Peach

Peach: Two applications of 5 l/ha sprayed 6 weeks and 4 weeks before harvest. Water rate: 500 l/ha. Potatoes

Potatoes: 5 L/ha commencing 2 weeks after 100% emergence and repeated as necessary at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 50-500 L/ha.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin (Field Grown)): Repeat applications of 3 to 5 l/ha at 7 day intervals during fruit development up to one month before harvest. Water rate: 200 to 500 l/ha

Raspberries

Raspberry: 3 to 5 l/ha applied three times from start of new season leaf growth at 10 to 14 day intervals. N.B. Last application to be made no later than one month before harvest commences. Also, 3 to 5 l/ha applied as required after final harvest for the season at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 200 to 500 l/ha.

Squash (Field Grown)

Squash (Field Grown)): Repeat applications of 3 to 5 l/ha at 7 day intervals during fruit development up to one month before harvest. Water rate: 200 to 500 l/ha.

Strawberries

Strawberry (Field Grown)): 3 to 5 l/ha applied three times from start of new season leaf growth at 10 to 14 day intervals. N.B.
