Yara Expands Operations with New State-of-the-Art Adelaide Warehouse

Yara is proud to announce the relocation of its Adelaide warehouse to a newly built, state-of-the-art facility at Edinburgh North. This major upgrade marks a significant milestone in Yara’s commitment to improving service capacity, operational safety, and sustainability in Australia.

The new warehouse boasts twice the capacity of the previous facility, covering a total of 6,000 square meters. This expanded space allows Yara to hold double the quantity of products, including dangerous goods, ensuring greater availability and quicker fulfilment for customers while eliminating the need for overflow locations. Built as a standalone facility, it offers top-tier storage and handling capabilities while giving MTAW full control of AQIS operations, eliminating the need for shared infrastructure and enabling faster, more efficient processes.

Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility is equipped with solar power and other green technologies, aligning with Yara’s broader goals of reducing its environmental footprint. Additionally, the site is fully bunded, enhancing safety and environmental protection. Improved traffic management systems and reduced onsite traffic contribute to a safer working environment, with streamlined loading and unloading processes.

The facility also features expanded office space, including a large boardroom, providing an improved environment for staff and fostering greater collaboration with customers and partners.
